Be Bright Coffee has masterfully crafted this delightful drink using an organic carrot juice-based carrot cake syrup, espresso, milk, carrot cheesecake cold foam, and a candied carrot garnish. Assistant Manager Tae Kim, who played a key role in developing this drink, shares, “The ingredients are something that can be easily found in any supermarket, but I found that organic carrot juice has more natural sweetness that works better in this recipe compared to non-organic.”

The Inspiration Behind the Carrot Cake Latte

Springtime is synonymous with renewal, and for many, it’s a time to enjoy lighter, fresher flavors. Kim’s love for carrot cake, combined with the seasonal appeal of this dessert, sparked the idea for the Carrot Cake Latte. “When I was researching our Spring Menu, I searched what sorts of desserts people eat during the spring. Luckily, one of the desserts that popped up was carrot cake. That immediately inspired me to create the Carrot Cake Latte, and I was happy with how it turned out,” he explains.

The Carrot Cake Latte Recipe

Ingredients:

  • Coffee: Breakfast Blend Kaleidoscope espresso
  • Syrup: Organic carrot juice-based carrot cake syrup
  • Milk: Your choice of milk
  • Foam: Carrot cheesecake cold foam
  • Garnish: Candied carrot

 

Method:

  1. Prepare the Espresso: Start with a shot of Breakfast Blend Kaleidoscope espresso. This blend offers a balanced, smooth base that pairs perfectly with the carrot cake flavors.
  2. Make the Carrot Cake Syrup: Combine organic carrot juice with spices typically found in carrot cake—think cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of vanilla. This syrup is the heart of the drink, providing that unmistakable carrot cake flavor.
  3. Steam the Milk: Froth your choice of milk to create a creamy, velvety texture that complements the spiced syrup and rich espresso.
  4. Assemble the Latte: Combine the espresso and carrot cake syrup in a cup, then pour the steamed milk over the top.
  5. Top with Foam and Garnish: Add a generous layer of carrot cheesecake cold foam and finish with a candied carrot garnish for a touch of sweetness and visual appeal.
